Teachers at Stacy's Dance Factory come to their craft with enthusiasm, energy, dedication, and passion.

Please respect our teachers and give them your support in word and deed. They are here to help your child love dance and to learn to dance.

The art of dance is a lifestyle - the more you are willing to dedicate yourself to coming to practice and learning as many of the styles of dance as is possible, the easier it is to make dance a large part of your life.

New Teachers 2016/17

Luke Pilalis - Luke grew up dancing at his mom's studio in the Bloomingdale Il area. He has studied all styles but specializes in tap and hiphop. Luke has studied under a plethora pf teachers who molded him into a first place champion throughout his competitive dance career. After 17 years dancing, and 11 years competing, he became a quarter finalist on America's Got Talent. For the past 2 years he has been choreographing for Center Stage dance studio and is looking forward to sharing his passion here at the Dance Factory! Welcome Luke to our dance family!


Kim Knutson - hails from Bloomington, Il. Kim was a dancer for Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines for 14 years and was dance captain for 5 of those years. Having over 30 years of dance experience behind her, Kim received her training from Twin Cities School of Dance and Stacy’s Dance Factory. She has also trained with such notable choreographers as Spencer Liff, Dorianna Sanchez, Harrison McEldowney, Jeremy Plummer, Laura Dunlop and Frank Chavez. Kim also trained in the Dance/Musical Theatre department of Illinois State University and studied ballet and contemporary extensively. Her professional credits include: Dancing on the 66th Annual Tony Awards, dancing for the Chicago Bulls basketball team, singing on The Spirit of Chicago, dancing at Six Flags St. Louis in the Halloween show and dancing for Royal Caribbean. Kim has choreographed for many summer theatre performances in her hometown, taught dance and been a judge for many auditions and talent competitions. Kim is very thankful for what she has achieved and the dance career that she has had and is happy to be teaching in her hometown.
